Bolton Wanderers welcome Leicester City to the Reebok Stadium tommorow hoping to come back from their 3-1 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield yesterday, but they know it won't be easy as the battling Foxes have recently earned creditable draws against the likes of Arsenal and Newcastle United.
Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce threatened to make changes from the side which lost to Liverpool and that could see Ibrahim Ba, Stelios Giannakopoulos and Henrik Pedersen handed starts, with the latter being on an impressive run of goalscoring recently. Bruno N'Gotty is also set to return from a hamstring injury which has forced him to miss the last two games so he could take his place back in the Trotters defence alongside Simon Charlton. Former Leicester City keeper Kevin Poole is set to keep his place on the Bolton bench.
Leicester have three players missing for their visit to Lancashire as both Matt Elliott and Ian Walker are suspended whilst former Manchester City defender Steve Howey is also set to miss out because of a hamstring problem. Former Bolton favourite Gerry Taggart will miss out as he is still on loan with Stoke City so there could be a place in defence for Callum Davidson, another player with Bolton connections is Billy McKinlay who was on trial with the Wanderers in summer 2001 and he is set to partner Muzzy Izzet in the Foxes midfield.
Micky Adams always gets his sides working hard and there is much more beleif about the side than there was when they went down in 2002, it will be a hard game so Wanderers will have to be at their best to overturn the Midlands side.
