Tottenham Hotspur Preview

Bolton Wanderers are back in Premiership action tommorow as they take on Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane hoping to improve on their recent league form having lost their last two matches.

The Trotters have an injury crisis for the trip south as defensive duo Florent Laville and Emerson Thome are ruled out whilst there is also serious doubts over the fitness of Youri Djorkaeff and Ivan Campo.

Anthony Barness or Nicky Hunt are expected to come in for the Brazilian Thome who picked up a hamstring injury in the midweek Carling Cup win over Gillingham whilst Campo, who picked up an achilles injury in that game could be replaced by Henrik Pedersen with Kevin Nolan reverting to a more central role. Former French International Djorkaeff has been out with a calf injury over the last few weeks and is very doubtful.

Spurs welcome back Mauricio Taricco, Dean Richards, Darren Anderton and Gus Poyet as the look to continue their good run under caretaker manager David Pleat, however they will have to do without the services of injured trio Jamie Redknapp, Frederic Kanoute and Simon Davies for the visit of the Wanderers.

Bolton have never won at White Hart Lane in the Premiership and their recent record in North London hasn't been good, two seasons ago they where dumped out of both cup competitions quite convincingly, but two defeats in the Premiership since the turn of the month including a 6-2 hammering by Manchester City has meant that they will be keen to alter their poor record against Spurs. However Tottenham have not lost in six games since Pleat took temporary charge and have looked more solid defensively having conceded just one goal at home since their clash with Southampton which was ironically Glenn Hoddle's last match in charge.
