Allardyce Confirms Interest In Duo

Both players will be out of contract at their respective clubs come the summer and the Bolton boss has stated that the two players are of interest to him as he strives to build a side capable of qualifying for Europe.

"They are on our list of possibles for the simple reason they are free agents," he told the Manchester Evening News.

"Free agents have been the mainstay of our success and it looks like we will continue that way.

"It doesn't look as though we will have millions to spend unless we finish fourth in the table. Then there would be the guarantees the Champions League brings."
