Allardyce wants transfer window scrapped

Allardyce believes the system does little for players, managers or fans: "Is it beneficial to the game? Not a chance," Allardyce said.

"The transfer window weakens, dilutes and stops you doing business.

"What really disappoints me is that a player you signed at the start of the season cannot move to another club if he wanted to or we wanted him to."
