Otsemobor has rejected a new contract offer from Crewe and is poised to move on during the transfer window and the 23-year-old could be seen as the man to provide the cover at right-back for Sam Allardyce's side.
Speaking of right backs, the agent of Branko Illic is certain a deal will be wrapped up by the Wanderers as early as the start of next week.
"Bolton are very interested in Branko," Sam Stapleton told the Yorkshire Post.
"He was with them last week for a few days, where he performed extremely well in his tests, and he is back with them now to have a final check on a few things.
"A prospective fee has already been talked about and everything is set up for this to push on.
"Everything should be wrapped up at the end of the week or the beginning of next."
