Talbot has featured prominently for the reserves over the last two seasons and has been included as an unused substitute for the first team on a number of occasions with the last instance coming in midweek against Yeovil Town.
The 18-year old has signed professionally for the Wanderers to enable him to switch to Pride Park having previously only been on a three year Youth Scholarship.
