Ibrahim Ba has finally received clearance to become a fully fledged Bolton Wanderers player after over a month on trial. The 30-year old former AC Milan, Marseille, Le Harve and Perugia player is now expected to be involved in the squad for Saturday's Premiership clash with Middlesbrough at The Reebok Stadium.
Ba joined the Wanderers on their tour of Malta in late July following his release from Milan and impressed Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce sufficiently to be offered a short term deal. However finances for deals for a striker and a defender has meant that the former French international has had to wait to complete a deal to join the club, however as a free agent it meant he could sign after the transfer deadline had passed.
Sam Allardyce was delighted with the addition of Ba to his squad
"He's a fantastic aquisition for this football club. He's proved himself in top flight European football for the past seven or eight years and we are confident we can get the best out of him" he said
