Former French international Ibrahim Ba has said he would like to extend his contract at the club when it runs out at the end of the month and says he is enjoying his new lease of life at Bolton Wanderers.
The 30-year old joined Wanderers in September on a three month deal following an unhappy time at AC Milan and has been an important figure in the club's Carling Cup run making the same breakthrough in the Premiership in recent weeks and the former Bordeaux and Marseille player is happy at his new club.
"This is a good club and it's a nice environment to play and train in, Bolton have given me a new lease of life and I would like to increase my stay beyond December. It is down to the club to offer me something - personally I don't want to go anywhere else.".
The club have confirmed that they hope to extend the players deal when it expires and manager Sam Allardyce gave Ba hope when he said he would be considered as a potential replacement for Jay-Jay Okocha when the midfielder goes on African Nations Cup duty next month.
