The French midfielder has been told by Saints that he can leave St Mary's on a free transfer if he can find a new club and his agent, Willie McKay has told Sky Sports that Sam Allardyce has declared an interest.
"I have spoken to a few clubs including Bolton about Fabrice," McKay told Sky Sports.
"Fabrice is a very good player and he would be a good addition for any squad in The Premiership.
"He is available on a free transfer. He has an agreement with Rupert Lowe to let him leave and Harry Redknapp will not stand in his way if he moves on.
"Fabrice is keen to be playing in The Premiership and I have been speaking to Sam Allardyce and he is interested in him."
