Allardyce watched the USA in action against Germany last week and said:
"There are lots of American players wanting to get into Europe now and particularly in England and I know a little bit about some of them now, so, if these players do become available, we could make a move if the opportunity arises.
"Of course, there are a few Americans in the Premier League already but, as a country, football is becoming extremely popular over there now and with the population they have they are producing more and more talented players.
"They were very good for 75 minutes against Germany, which shows you just how far they have come overall."
