The deal to bring Nigerian midfielder Blessing Kaku to Bolton Wanderers moved a step closer today as the Trotters agreed a fee with Ashdod FC for the players services.
Kaku impressed Bolton manager Sam Allardyce in a recent trial spell during which he played a starring role in the second half of the friendly against Real Zaragoza just over a week ago.
And according to the Bolton Evening News further deals to sign a defender and goalkeeper also moved to the advanced stages but the Wanderers boss Big Sam is understandably keeping the players identities under wraps
Meanwhile despite reported interest from Fiorentina the Trotters are still hopeful that they can persuade Liverpool striker El-Hadji Diouf to join the club with all set to become more clearer in the next 24 hours.
