Bolton Wanderers and Arsenal are facing the prospect of playing two games in 48-hours if their FA Cup Quarter Final tie next weekend goes to a replay.
Should a return trip to Highbury be needed then Bolton will have to play Norwich City on the Saturday (19th March) and then play the replay on the Monday (21st March).
Amazingly Manchester United and Southampton have been given a reprive to stage any potential replay at a later date due to the fact that the Football Association do not want the Old Trafford pitch wrecked for the forthcoming England international against Northern Ireland.
Both the Wanderers and the Gunners are said to be unhappy at this decision but the London Metropolitan Police are not willing to compromise by staging the game in line with United.
