Reggae Boyz star Ricardo Gardner could be ruled out of Bolton Wanderers opening game of the season due to international commitments with Jamaica.
The Wanderers wing back is in the national squad to take on the United States in a World Cup qualifier on August 18th and the Jamaican coach Carl Brown said to want all his players available five days in advance before their game with the Americans.
Gardner has only recently returned to competitive action following a five month spell on the sidelines with a knee injury and his potentially enforced absence could mean a defensive re-think ahead of the visit by the Addicks.
