Bolton Wanderers are reportedly once again interested in the signature of Portuguese U21 international defender Bruno Alves and could make a bid for the 22-year old during the January transfer window.
The centre-half, who impressed for his country during an U21 international against England earlier this year is currently on a year long loan to Portuguese strugglers Vitoria Guimaraes from FC Porto and has been one of the few highlights in Vitoria's season so far.
Both the Wanderers and Premiership rivals Portsmouth have shown an interest in the player and agent Mike Walsh has admitted there has been interest in the player but as yet no concrete offers have been made.
"He is being watched and clubs have been out there. He has done quite well, but people are just drawing up their lists of potential targets."
