Bolton Wanderers have confirmed that Paul Warhurst has left his second spell at the Reebok Stadium following a short spell training with the club.
The player, who will be 34 tommorow was released by the club over the summer following just under 100 appearances in four years but was then invited back by manager Sam Allardyce shortly after the transfer window had closed in a bid to add cover to the squad but now it seems the veteran has decided to cut short his second spell with the club in order to find some regular first team football in the Nationwide League.
The former Oldham Athletic, Sheffield Wednesday, Blackburn Rovers, Crystal Palace and Stoke City player has a wealth of experience behind him and would prove to be an excellent aquisition for someone looking for a versitile player, providing he can stay free of injury.
This comes on the day that Wanderers offer a trial to Portuguese ace Joao Manuel Pinto so it may well be that the former Benfica defender could replace the departing Warhurst.
