French defender Philippe Christanval is being linked with moves to Premiership sides Bolton Wanderers and Southampton.
The 26-year old has previously been a target of the Wanderers having been of interest to Sam Allardyce during the 2003 close season whilst still on the books of Barcelona.
Cristanval opted instead to move back to France with Olympique Marseille but hasn't managed to recapture the form which once made him one of the hottest properties in European football.
The ex-Monaco centre half played his part in the French team which won the European Championships in 2000.
