Bolton have snapped up David N'Gog in a ?4million deal from Liverpool according to reports, but Gary Cahill's exit has stalled.
Bolton boss Owen Coyle has been desperately seeking reinforcements in attack throughout the summer after losing Johan Elmander and loan star Daniel Sturridge at the end of last season. Coyle has been tracking N'Gog for some time and it would seem as if he has got his man, with unconfirmed reports suggesting the deal has been agreed.
Stoke and Blackburn had also been linked with N'Gog but the Frenchman has decided to opt for the Reebok where he will compete with the likes of Kevin Davies, Ivan Klasnic and Tuncay Sanli for a place in the starting 11. Meanwhile, it has been suggested the Bolton have rejected a cash-plus-player offer from Spurs for Gary Cahill, but the London outfit could return with an improved offer before the transfer window slams shut.
