A report in today's Sunday Mirror newspaper is claiming that Bolton Wanderers and Southampton have shown an interest in Birmingham City misfit Dwight Yorke.
The former Aston Villa and Manchester United striker was of interest to the Trotters in the summer but Sam Allardyce could not agree on a deal with Yorke's former employers Blackburn Rovers.
Yorke has failed to settle at St Andrews since arriving last summer and is now eager to find some regular first team football elsewhere in England with Championship sides Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United also waiting to pounce.
Bolton are also thought to be casting an eye over the in form Huddersfield Town midfielder Chris Brandon. The former Chesterfield winger is said to have been watched by the Trotters and Sunderland in recent weeks.
