It is reported that the former German international is trying to back out of a deal to join Bolton after allegedly signing a legal document confirming his intention to quit Liverpool to sign for Sam Allardyce.
However, it is claimed that the player's wife is unhappy with the idea of him signing for Bolton so he's said to have backed out of a move.
Reports claim that Bolton will try to sue Didi for as much as £3million (to buy out his contract with them) if he stands his ground and ignores Bolton's demands.
Meanwhile, Leandro Gioda is a target for Sam Allardyce according to reports on Thursday.
The central defender currently plays in his homeland of Argentina for Primera Division side Lanus.
The Daily Express says Trotters boss Sam Allardyce has offered £1 million for Gioda, who was linked with Valencia last year.
