The agent of international midfielder Juan Arango has confirmed to skysports.com that Tottenham and two other Premiership sides are chasing the Venezuelan star, with reports suggesting Bolton are one of those mystery clubs.
"There is an interest there (from Tottenham), but there is also interest from two other clubs in The Premiership that we have spoken to, " Aparicio told skysports.com.
"One is a London club and one is a Northern club.
"Venezuela has a match coming up this weekend against Paraguay, and then the Brazil game, and representatives from both clubs are going over there to have a look at him. "
"It's likely (a move in January), if not in January then definitely by the summer, " he continued. "He likes Mallorca, but from the age of 18 he's wanted to play in England.
"With all due respect to Mallorca, who have given him the chance to play in Europe and prove himself, they are not Tottenham.
"Even when he went to Mexico there were English clubs who were looking at him, but nothing materialised.
"Now they've seen what a good player he is at Mallorca, a lot of people are looking at him again."
Meanwhile, Martin Djetou has accepted a trial from Bolton and if impresses could earn a four month contract up to the next Transfer Window as Sam Allardyce looks for defensive cover.
