Asked if his detailed preparations for next season meant he expected to still be at the Reebok, he said: "At the moment, yes, until anything else changes.
"I'm employed by the football club, contracted to them until I hear otherwise from the FA, obviously.
"If it comes to the leaving point of view, it will be left in a very healthy, very stable position for somebody else to pick up quite comfortably and quite easily.
"So the job continues at this level. The planning forward is an integral part of our success. Most of pre-season and quite a lot of player movement in and out has been talked about privately. So we keep moving on."
Meanwhile, Sam Allardyce says UEFA Cup qualification can help his recruiting campaign in the summer.
"It's just a case of finding out the players you can buy, the players who are suitable to play for Bolton Wanderers and what they cost," he said.
"The UEFA Cup doesn't help financially, but it helps when it comes to bringing players in.
"The fact that a Bolton Wanderers team could play in Europe two years on the trot is quite miraculous."
