Borgetti has scored four goals in 13 appearances for Wanderers and maintains he understands his role at the club.
"It's like everything. Sometimes, players are on the pitch, sometimes we have to wait aside," the £1million summer signing from Pachuca told Televisa Deportes.
"I'm calm because I think that the time I was needed I played well, because I'm concerned about what I have to do and what the coach (Sam Allardyce) wants me to do.
"Obviously, if I'm sad it's because I'm not playing. I'll stay here and keep training until I play. When I have the possibility as my team-mates had, I'll profit from it.
"Going back to Mexico has never been in my head."
