Injured trio Anthony Barness, Kevin Nolan and Henrik Pedersen could all return to the Bolton Wanderers squad for this weekend's friendly clash with Spanish Cup winners Real Zaragoza providing that they come through training okay this week.
The three were forced to miss yesterday's friendly defeat against Inter Milan following injuries picked up in the local derby against Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park but the Bolton manager Sam Allardyce is hopeful that the players in question will be fit for Saturday's Reebok showdown against the Spaniards.
"The lads will resume training this week, They have picked up niggling injuries but they should be okay for this weekend’s game." he said
Pedersen has been suffering with the effects of a groin injury whilst Nolan and Barness have thigh and hip injuries respectively.
