And the controversial Senegal hitman, 24, has twice been in trouble for spitting at opponents.
But boss Allardyce insisted: "There was no need for him to get so frustrated with the referee after the Fulham game.
"Up until now he has been very controlled for us in keeping his discipline, so I was very disappointed.
"He's paid his fine and deserves another chance. But I've told him not to do anything silly this time or I really won't be very happy.
"Dioufy gets plenty of chit-chat in his ear, but he has to deal with it."
Meanwhile, Newcastle United are set to move again for Bolton Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce.
