Bolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has warned his players to be on guard tommorow warning his defenders of the Boro strike threat and one man in particular, the former Wanderers striker Michael Ricketts.
The England international left the Reebok Stadium for Middlesbrough in January and the Wanderers boss claims that the former Walsall forward will be keen to get on the scoresheet again, just as he did on the final game of last season against the club, his only goal still to date in a Boro shirt.
"We have to worry about him tommorow because the only goal he has scored for Boro was against us" said the Bolton boss
"They have a lot of quality strikers in their line up and that will take some looking after. If we do the defensive side of the job as well as we did against Charlton then we have to cash in with a goal, we've got to be more ruthless in front of goal because we can't create any more chances than we did in the Charlton game." he added
"It will be interesting to see what side Steve MacClaren puts out as he has got Boudwijn Zenden and Gaizka Mendieta to increase his options" he told bwfc.co.uk
