Burnley look set to recall Glen Little from his loan spell at Bolton Wanderers following an injury crisis which will see the Clarets have just 14 players fit for their Carling Cup tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 28-year old winger was into the second month of a loan exchange with the Wanderers but now it looks as if the midfielder will return to Turf Moor after Burnley boss Stan Ternant wanted to bring the player back to East Lancashire following further injuries to Paul Weller and Luke Chadwick to further decimate his squad.

"I'll bring Glen back now, I need him back here now." Ternent said

However the Burnley boss was also keen to keep Bolton duo Delroy Facey and Gareth Farrelly but Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has hinted he may want to recall Facey if he carries on to score the goals for the Clarets. However a future move for Little is very much in doubt after Allardyce did not disclose his next move for the player who he has used sparingly since his move to the Trotters at the beggining of September.

"I'll extend Delroy and Gareth's deals too hopefully." said Ternant in his bid to keep Facey and Farrelly.
