Instead Campo will be jetting off to Scandinavia at the club's request.
Speaking at a press conference to unveil their latest aquisition Phil Brown said: "We'll be sending him to Paul Balsom in Sweden for 10 days to work on his conditioning and fitness.
"We need to bring him up to speed because he has been training by himself recently and that's never easy.
"It will probably be two weeks before I get my hands on him on the training ground but I can't wait."
"We know he's got quality on the ball and if he shows it in the first couple of days he's going to pose one or two selection problems for the gaffer.
"But that's why we've brought him here. And if the fitness coaches get him up to speed maybe he could be with us before the two weeks - who knows''.
