Bolton Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside has promised that more faces will be added to the Trotters squad this summer to add to the arrivals of Leeds United striker Michael Bridges and Birmingham City midfielder Aliou Cisse.
Gartside told BBC GMR radio that the club are aiming to get a squad of around 23 players and says that the recent departures of many first team fringe players has meant that the club will have to spend the next few weeks looking to strenghten the squad even further
"We are looking for a squad of between 21-23 players. That seems to be the number at the moment. As we have let some players go we are a bit light on that. That's why we are trying to build a squad to the right levels.".
Seven members of the first team squad left the club at the end of the last season whilst many others such as Jeff Smith, Jeremy Bon, Cleveland Taylor, Derek Niven, Gareth Farrelly and Delroy Facey left the club in the Spring months.
