Verdict: They may have lost star man Gary Cahill but have brought in a replacement by signing American defender Tim Ream. Cahill is going to be a big miss for Bolton but Owen Coyle is confident his replacement is capable of filling the gap. The signing of highly rated Marvin Sordell from Watford is also a major boost for the club as they aim for survival against relegation.
