Connolly Signed On Deadline Day

Wanderers moved to land the highly-rated teenage defender just before the transfer window closed but the two clubs had not, until recently, agreed a compensation fee.

The £1m deal means that the Trotters and Wolves have avoided the need to go to a tribunal to sort out a deal and both sides appear happy with the arrangement.
