Wanderers have often struggled to attract players because of their unfashionable reputation and, when they have, the club have had to pay over the odds to seal the deal.
Coyle, who will not have a vast budget for rebuilding, knows he will have to work hard to bring in his first choices.
"You have to make the best of every opportunity," he said.
"It doesn't faze me sitting down with players and telling what our plan is and how we want to go about it.
"We have to do our best to really entice them to the club."
