Kevin Davies has been passed fit for Wanderers trip to Birmingham on Monday night when Sam Allardyce's Bolton take on struggling City at St. Andrews.
Davies limped out of the victory over Spurs with a rib injury which he sustained the previous Thursday against FC Zenit, but will be available to take on Steve Bruce's side come Monday.
"I got the knock against the Russians," Davies confirmed. "The big guy did me. He came back and said 'sorry' afterwards, it was just one of those things.
"It had been uncomfortable in training and playing but, when I went out after half-time against Spurs, it was just too painful. But I've had a rest - I went down to Spain for a few days - and I've trained the last two days and had no problems."
Things are looking bleaker for fellow Wanderer Henrik Pedersen who's still struggling with an achilles problem.
"I've only managed two days off during the international break, because I've been having treatment," Pedersen said. "It's improving but I've not done any running yet.
"I've been troubled by the injury for a while now. It's something that has been caused by too many games."
