Davies hit two goals against Middlesbrough and Wolverhampton Wanderers and has impressed the Wanderers fans with his ability to freshen up the Bolton forward line. Up until his move to Bolton he hadn't scored regularly since his first spell with the Saints back in 1997 so the move to the Reebok Stadium has given the former England U21 player a new lease of life.
