Davies has scored three times in his last four outings to boost his tally for the season to five.
"I've tended to score one then not score for a few games, so it's nice to have this little run going. Long may it continue," Davies told the Bolton Evening News.
"Five for the season looks a bit more respectable. Hopefully I can get some more important goals before now and the end of the season. As long as we are getting results, that's the main thing for me."
He has also asked Bolton manager Sam Allardyce to re-think about plans to sign a new striker in the summer.
"I don't think we need one," Davies said. "At the start of the season, we set our goals and the idea was to get two or three players into double figures and not to have to rely on just one.
"That's always been the target and, since I've been here, we've always had two or three players around that figure."
Meanwhile, Bolton could be set to land Kansas City Wizards striker Josh Wolff from under the noses of Everton.
The Mirror says Allardyce jetted to Germany to watch Wolff in action last night for the USA.
Wolff can move to the Premiership for nothing in the summer and has already undergone a trial at Everton.
