The 26-year-old French international centre-half has had trial spells with Arsenal and Celtic this summer without earning a deal but will be offered the chance to link up with Sam Allardyce's squad.
Allardyce is also set to tie up a late move for former Southampton and Newcastle defender Oliver Bernard.
