Former Chelsea captain Marcel Desailly has revealed he could be on the way back to the Premiership.
The French defender has left Qatar's Al Gharafa to return to Europe and the Mirror says Desailly has revealed Bolton or Portsmouth may sign him.
Portsmouth would appear to be the most likely destination of the proposed suitors with Desailly already intimating his desire to be based as close as possible to his family in France.
The South Coast club's manager Alain Perrin was able to offer a similar incentive to Laurent Robert this summer and may eye the former Marseille man as the strugglers bid to shore up their backline.
