On loan striker El-Hadji Diouf feels that his move to Bolton has rejuvenated his career having spent a number of months in the wilderness at Liverpool last season.
Diouf scored his first Bolton goal at the weekend against Newcastle United and he is of the opinion that things are more relaxed at the Wanderers than they were in his latter days at Anfield.
The Senegal ace says he felt under pressure during the managerial reign of Gerard Houllier - the man who brought him over to England from French club Lens two years ago.
"I liked Liverpool but Bolton is better for me,It is a really friendly place where there is a great atmosphere between the players, fans and staff.
"I don't have a lot of pressure here, whereas there was a lot of pressure on me at Liverpool which I found difficult. he said
The 23-year old also paid tribute to the Wanderers fans for the welcome which they have given him during the early months of his stay at the Reebok Stadium.
"The important thing is that I am happy here now and I think that we can do well this season. It is nice for me to run out on the pitch and hear fans applauding me for a change."
