Bolton Wanderers veteran Youri Djorkaeff has said that being part of the Trotters Carling Cup run this season has been one of the major highlights of his long and distinguished career and says that it is good for the club as a whole that they have reached a major final.
The 35 year old boasts a medals cabinet that includes winners medals for the World Cup, European Championships, UEFA Cup and European Cup Winners Cup and says that his dream now has been fulfilled in getting to a final with his current club Bolton for whom he has an affection for.
"It was a great moment. To get to a final with Bolton was a dream, it is now a reality" the former Inter Milan ace explained
Djorkaeff compares the current Wanderers side to that of his former clubs who where successful in cup competitions and beleives that the team playing their best has lead to the perfect reward.

"I played in a final with a great French team and also with Inter, PSG and Monaco. I came here and I thought if we played to our maximum we could reach a final and we have arrived" he said
"It is fantastic for the club, the fans, for some starting in the Premier League, who are young"
