Duo close to return

Boss Sam Allardyce has confirmed the duo are on their way back to full fitness although he has questioned their availability for selection in Bolton's weekend clash at home to Southampton.

“Both players are making rapid progress but it’s too early to suggest that they’ll be involved in Saturday’s match against Southampton,” Allardyce told the clubs official website.
