The Brazilian defender has been a regular in the Trotters defence since signing from Sunderland in August and like many players at Bolton he will be out of contract in the summer months the former Sheffield Wednesday man hasn't ruled out anything even speculating that he could return to the continent if he isn't offered fresh terms to stay at the Reebok Stadium.
"My contract is up in the summer and I don't know where I am going, I don't even know if I am going to be staying in the country.I could be staying with Bolton, I could be going back home or I could be going elsewhere."
Manager Sam Allardyce has expressed a desire to keep all his out of contract players at the club but will have to sit down with chairman Phil Gartside towards the end of the season and review the clubs finances to see if he can afford to keep all those who's contracts need to be renewed.
