Khalilou Fadiga is refusing to give up on his professional football career despite a second successive heart operation this year.
The 29-year old has had an automatic defibrilator fitted following his collapse during the warm up prior to the game with Tottenham Hotspur last week. It is expected he will return in two months time despite initial fears over the weekend that he may have to give up the game.
Fadiga attended a press conference with surgeon Pedro Brugada today and he confirmed that the midfielder will be hoping to return to action around the New Year period.
