The 28-year old former Everton and Aston Villa player was influential for Stan Ternant's men against the Potters up until he was forced to go to hospital with a leg injury but after x-rays any damage was just bad bruising and the Republic of Ireland international is expected to play for the Clarets against Norwich City this weekend.
