Farrelly Wanted By Bantams

New Bradford City manager Bryan Robson has reportedly held talks with Bolton Wanderers about taking midfielder Gareth Farrelly on a three month loan deal.

Former Aston Villa and Everton player Farrelly 28, has fallen out of favour at the Reebok Stadium this season and has only recently come back from a similar spell at Burnley and it seems that his future would lie away from Lancashire having been at the Clarets and at Rotherham United for loan spells in 2003.

Farrelly joined Wanderers in 1999 and has made over 70 appearances for the club, scoring the all important opening goal in the 2001 Play Off Final win over Preston North End which secured the Trotters place in the top flight, however a move to Yorkshire with the Bantams in a deal which could be made permanent is maybe what the former Republic of Ireland player will need to get his career back on track and a deal is hoped to be completed in time for the player to take part in the clubs clash with Millwall at the weekend.
