Sammy Lee has confirmed the defender is in his plans for Reading on Saturday, "I have spoken to Abdoulaye and he has worked hard this week on the training ground and is eager to play on Saturday."
"I did leave him out of the last two matches, against Fulham and Portsmouth, because I felt the speculation was getting to him and it has been difficult for the boy.
"He has responded well this week and he will come into contention against Reading at the weekend."
Meanwhile, Bolton are eyeing FC Copenhagen defender Brede Hangeland.
Scouts watched Hangeland in last night's friendly between Norway and Argentina, but the Trotters face competition from Aston Villa.
