Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of former England striker Les Ferdinand from Leicester City on a one year contract following his departure from the Foxes at the end of last season.
The 37-year old brings a wealth of experience to the Reebok Stadium having served no fewer than seven professional clubs during a seventeen year career which has included a spell in Turkey with Besiktas back in 1989.
Ferdinand won 17 caps for England scoring five goals including one on his debut against San Marino back in 1993. He has scored goals consistently at the top level for a number of years and is a previous PFA Player of the Year winner.
He becomes the Wanderers second signing of the summer hot on the heels of Michael Bridges who recently joined the club on a Free Transfer from Leeds United.
BoltonMAD would like to welcome Les to the club and hope his time with the Trotters is as successful as his career to date.
