Ricardo Gardner has become the latest Wanderers player to pledge his future to the club by agreeing a new four year contract which will see him remain at the Reebok until 2008.
The Jamaican international follows hot on the heels of team mates Nicky Hunt and Kevin Poole both of whom last week committed their futures to the club by agreeing new contracts to remain with the club.
Gardner 25, joined Bolton nearly six years ago from Harbour View in Jamaica following a successful World Cup campaign with the Reggae Boyz and has since gone on to make over 200 appearances for the Wanderers. Last season he suffered another knee ligament injury but was fortunate enough to make a return to competitive action before the season ended.
If the player stays at the club for the remainder of his contract he will be granted a testimonial as he will have completed ten years service and this will add him to the very few players who reach such levels in today's game.
