Former Leeds United left-back Ian Harte could be on his way back to the English Premiership with Bolton, claims the Bolton Evening News.
The 28-year old has been playing for Levante during the past twelve months but is rumoured to be on his way back to the United Kingdom as the Spanish club look to slash their wage bill following relegation from La Liga.
Free-kick specialist Harte made 213 league appearances for Leeds between 1995 and 2004 and is also a regular for the Republic of Ireland national team winning over 50 caps.
Wanderers are looking for defensive resources in the full-back areas due to the departures of Anthony Barness, Julio Cesar and Vincent Candela, who looks to return to Italy.
