Wanderers booked a trip to Birmingham in the last eight of the FA Cup with a 1-0 win at Fulham on Sunday and, currently lying eighth in the league after 27 games, they have a realistic chance of securing Europa League qualification.
Injuries have started to mount at the back for manager Owen Coyle, but Holden is confident Bolton have the players to keep going in both competitions.
"We can fight on two fronts," said the American midfielder, quoted in the Bolton News.
"We're a little bit thin at the back but when guys have been asked to fill in they have done well. Going forward and in midfield we've got a number of options.
"When we have made changes we have still been able to get results, and that gives us confidence and momentum to go and get more of them."
