Bolton Wanderers striker Mario Jardel further fuelled speculation that he is heading back to Brazil by walking out of Italian strugglers Ancona at the weekend without permission.
Jardel who walked out on Sporting Lisbon last year under similar circumstances will now most certainly have his loan spell with the Italians terminated in what is a sad state of events for a player once on the edge of greatness. The forward still has 18 months remaining of a two-year contract at Bolton but it is expected that this also will be ended prematurely to enable the player to return to his homeland.
As reported last week on BoltonMAD the former Golden Boot winner is a target of Corinthians who had confirmed that they would like to take the player back to South America where he built his career up with Vasca da Gama and Gremio before a move to FC Porto in 1996.
