Italian Youngster In Bolton Trial

Bolton Wanderers have taken Italian youngster Paulo Greco on trial and could offer a professional contract to the midfielder should he impress during his short stay in England.

The 17-year old has been offered terms of a professional contract with Serie A side Sampdoria but has chosen to come to Wanderers to be put through his paces before making a final decision on his future.

Greco had been playing in the Italian non-league scene but his abilities have proved to be more at home in a higher league.
